Indiana native Hunter Wainscott began writing songs as a child and now performs as a full-time solo acoustic artist, playing live shows everywhere across the country. While growing up as the oldest child in a family of 11 children, Hunter spent many years playing in churches, nursing homes and many other small venues.

Since 2018 Hunter has performed all over America, connecting with audiences everywhere through music that reflects the everyday life, struggles and love experienced by everyday people. His live shows consist of guitar, harmonica, and vocals in a uniquely homegrown Indiana style all its own, and include a wide mix of both covers spanning a wide variety of genres all in his own flavoring, as well as his own original music. Throughout the year, Hunter performs extensively at festivals, theaters, breweries, wineries, dive bars, private events, clubs and many other venues and occasions.

Hunter has toured everywhere from Arizona to the east coast, and in 2023 while on his first Southwest tour, was invited to record his music in Clovis, New Mexico in the same studio once used by Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, and The Fireballs. Hunter has opened for many world famous artists such as The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, Myron Elkins, Henry Lee Summer, and The Henhouse Prowlers.

Hunter Wainscott’s first EP with his former band was released in 2020, followed by his first solo project released in February 2024. Hunter resides with his wife and children in Nashville, Indiana.
